From the seed of an idea born out of the COVID lockdowns of 2020/21, this is an event journey taken via global social media communities, local monthly club nights and grassroots gigs. Electric Summer is the destination.
This event has been built to celebrate not only the fantastic synthpop and electronic rock music of the 80s, but also the contemporary artists representing the future of the genre.
The day will be in aid of NORDOFF & ROBBINS, a charity which delivers music therapy to people across the UK, including some of the most vulnerable people in society. Much loved by the music industry itself, Nordoff and Robbins has long recognised the power of music to help people break through barriers so they can connect, communicate and truly express themselves.
So, in a nutshell, come to Vivary Park in Taunton for a day of great music, performances, meet friends, make new ones, enjoy a friendly atmosphere, and above all, have a fantastic time!
